Changes your job to Mage. By changing class at the Guild you also learn Arcane Protection.

On the 2nd floor of the Criatura Academy, talk to Charles.

Charles will give you a Mage Manual.

You may change class directly at the Academy, but it is recommended to change class at the Guild.

Select "I want to become a Mage" to teleport to the Geffen bridge.

This step is optional, but it helps you reach the Mage Guild faster.
